Ultimate Bootcamp Pledges 500 hours of Outdoor Workouts to Military Families

Ultimate Bootcamp is giving a big "THANK YOU" to the activated National Guard, Reservist, and their immediate military family members by supporting Joining Forces. Spearheaded by First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden, Joining Forces is a national initiative giving civilians a platform on which to give back to service members and their families. DoD USDA Family Resilience Conference

Launching of the Military Families Learning Network

Did you miss the conference or where there workshops you were unable to attend then checkout the Conference Proceeding now posted.  Proceedings include: Keynote Presentations, Research Presentations along with workshops, computer labs, program showcases and other events.

The launch of the Military Families Learning Network last week at the DoD USDA Family Resilience Conference was very well received by Cooperative Extension, Department of Defense, and branch service family professionals.  There was a great deal of excitement and interest surrounding the launch of eXtension's military families efforts.

We are excited to grow this network in the coming months, connecting with many military family service professionals, creating professional development web conferences and courses, and continuing conversations around child care, personal finance, families, network literacy, and
other topics.
