About Medieval Times
Medieval Times Dinner Theater describes itself with three words; “Chivalry, Rivalry, Revelry.”
This dinner theater takes guests back to medieval times through shows that star armed knights and live horses, as well as a “feast” that the attendees are encouraged to enjoy with their hands instead of silverware.
Music and lights bring guests further into the story and the overall experience as well.
The attraction opened its first location in December of 1983.
Today, Medieval Times has 10 locations across the United States and Canada, and they have entertained more than 60 million guests over the years.
They are a unique and fun attraction for all members of the family.
What Is The Official Medieval Times Military Discount?
Medieval Times gives back to the military by providing discounted tickets for those who serve, those who have served in the past, and their family members.
There isn’t exactly a ‘15% off’ or ‘buy 1 get 1 free’ type discount available, but you will certainly get a discount!
Discounted tickets are available online through a site called ID.me, or through your local base’s Ticket and Travel office.
If you purchase your tickets through a military base, you will get the additional benefit of having your general admission ticket upgraded to a Royalty ticket.
The Royalty upgrade gives you access to the dinner and the show just like a normal ticket, as well as priority castle and seating access, a cheering banner, and a VIP lanyard.
How To Buy Tickets From A Ticket And Travel Office
Before you go to purchase tickets, call your local base ahead of time to ensure that they offer Medieval Times tickets.
Once you know they offer tickets, go to the office in person to make your purchase.
You will be given paper tickets, which you will use for admission to the show.
