This is a good, no-frills, CHEAP option for my Gen 2 MCX. Interesting that I can still line up my folding sights through the optic, so sighting the optic in will be a breeze. Very happy with this purchase.
Pros
11 brightness settings. Red dot is crisp and clean and round. 1x magnification isn't distorted at close or far eye-relief distances. Came with a battery installed, plus a spare.
Cons
Would be nice if this came with an adapter for a Pic rail, but that can be found on Amazon for $10. Will need to get some caps for the lenses.

I have had one of these before and I enjoyed using it. It really helps with acquiring the target quickly. I enjoyed using mine previously.

you can find butler creek protective caps, i cant remember the size but there 2 different sizes needed. Its listed on there sister site pyramyd, under the reviews for this dot sight. Someone mentioned what size protective caps you will need, or you can use caliper to measure it.

Great dot sight. Works excellent on my Bandit .22 and my Sweet P17. Although on the bandit I have to figure out a better way because It either blocks the mag or has to sit back with part of the mount hanging off the back of the mount about a Eighth Inch off and I cant have it sitting sky high either. I was thinking about dedicating this to the sweet P17 and getting the small hawke Red dot for my Diana bandit. This sight Fits 2 different size dovetails. Most sights are like this, you just flip the retaining plate over to the other gripping side. I picked this one because it has a very fine dot, at 3 moa which is perfect. I hate big blobby dots that hinder your vision or target at further ranges. Powered by a cr2032 or cr2025 button cell, It Has 11 brightness settings with positive clicks. Ive tried several others that had parallax Issues. This one doesnt.

I dont understand why they couldnt of Included a cheap cover or couple caps to protect lenses when not in use and keep them clean.
