UTG Hunter IR 4-16x40 AO

Put this on my Mod 130s. Wanted something that would fit the picatinny rail on it with comfortable eye relief. Also wanted more magnification. This is an impressive scope. Replaced the CQB 3-9x32 Bugbuster and the difference is amazing. That scope went on my little Crosman Fire to finally replace the Centerpoint that came with it. If you are debating between the Bugbusters and the Hunters, imo the Hunters are well worth the few extra dollars. The included rings are perfect on the 130. Just make sure this will fit your gun first as it is about 14 1/2 inches long. Thought about the 6-24x50, but decided I would never hit the range it was capable of, plus it is over 15 inches long. Very impressed!

As a clear view and I love the cross hairs, the jury is still out on this scope, it group shoots but getting it to zero on target has not happened yet

Buy this scope from Airgun Depot, the people are very knowledgeable. Leapers/UTG scopes have a lifetime warranty and the quality of this scope is better than my similar Bushnell scope that I spent considerably more on. I would recommend this scope to a friend.

Everything about this scope is great. the scope is clear at all distances and the parallax adjustable objective is right on for the settings. The turrets are nice and lock down well, it is a nice feature usually found on more expensive scopes, to be able to zero the turrets once you have sighted the scope in. The lighted reticle is nice, and being able to change the color to other than red or green is a nice feature. The auto-off feature is nice. It will turn off the illuminated reticle in about an hour, if you forget to turn it off.

I would not change a thing about this scope, it is perfect for my use, target shooting at 50-100 yards and for pest control. It is very durable and holds it's zero, I have it on my Kral Puncher-Breaker and I use it with the available sunshade that AIrgun Depot sells as an accessory.

This is a great scope overall, buy it and you will be very satisfied.

The ability to adjust the parallax so you have a clear sight picture at distance. The sighting in of this scope was very easy. I had it perfectly sighted in at30 yards in 5 shots, and it hits perfectly at 100 yds on my Kral Puncher Breaker. The ability to change the crosshairs to red and green with the quick touch of a button.

Cons
The only issue I have had with this scope is when I installed the optional 2.4 inch objective shroud. The parallax objective does not turn with the shroud on, I have to loosen the shroud to adjust parallax for distance. It is not a problem for me, as my range is 50 yds and I leave it set at that.

I purchased this scope for an air rifle, but may end up putting it on a ruger 10/22. Super clear and the AO is of good quality. Clearity is easily achievable and the 10 mill dots on the crosshairs allow for long range plinking. Great scope. Photos provided (scopecam) were taken with my iPhone se down the scope. Very clear. :)

My intended use for this scope is atop a Hatsan Model 95 Vortex which have a reputation of being scope killers. So the two driving factors in this purchase were durability and price. Win/win for me! When I mounted the scope, and I used a single piece mount for additional security, I set off to the range to zero it in. About 20 minutes into the process the gun fires violently, so much so that the scope's IR turned on. Twice! A trip to Hatsan USA for some warranty work and it seemed the scope survived a damaged seal. I got the gun back, put the scope back on it, and it's been flawless. Very, very happy with this purchase. I do find the included caps don't really work that well on an adjustable objective; the cap will bump into the scope as you rotate it so you have to take it off to actually focus the scope. I ended up ordering some after market see-through lens covers that work great.
