YK 11 Review: Dosage, Side Effects, Results, & More

A lot of people have become excited about YK-11 in the past couple of years due to the way it can be used in bodybuilding.

Some have said it’s one of the most powerful SARMs available.

However, there is a problem with this, as it’s not a true SARM due to the chemical structure.

Still, it could be a good option, as it is one of the most effective research chemicals you can buy.

It is fully synthetic and is more powerful than the body can produce on its own.

Before you take the plunge, look into the good and the bad of YK-11, so you can decide on your own.

IMPORTANT: The below research chemical is NOT intended for those under the age of 18.  If you are under the age of 18, do NOT consider taking it under any circumstances whatsoever.

Also, if you’re planning on joining the military, cease using this (and really any) compound at least a couple months before going to MEPS.

They can cause a false positive on a drug test, and will affect your chances of joining!

YK-11 is an interesting compound and, as mentioned, most don’t consider it a real SARM.

One of the reasons for this is that it has a unique mechanism that doesn’t quite work like the other SARMs.

It is also more powerful than a lot of other options on the market, which seems to put it into a category of its own.

Research into the compound is still minimal, but it has been shown to have anabolic activity.

It could increase the production of follistatin, which helps to build muscle naturally.1

According to those who use the product, it helps them to make great gains in muscle mass and size, and it could do the same for you.

However, before you decide that you want to use YK-11, you will first want to learn more about the compound.

How Exactly Does YK-11 Work?

Interestingly, YK-11 doesn’t just target androgens in certain areas of the body.2

Instead, it targets areas across your body, which means that you can increase muscle mass faster in many areas of the body.

Because of the way it binds, you shouldn’t have trouble with your testosterone levels.

YK-11 is a myostatin that helps minimize myogenesis and it can help to regulate muscle growth, allowing for faster, larger growth.3

It does a good job of targeting muscle tissue for growth and strength alike, which is one of the reasons so many have chosen to use this supplement as part of their bodybuilding routine.4

It’s even been studied as a preventative health supplement for bacterial sepsis, although the results of that study need further investigation.5

Additionally, you should not have to worry about the types of issues and side effects that you would have with anabolic steroids.

That’s not to say that there aren’t any potential side effects, but we will get to those later.

What Are the Supposed Benefits of YK-11?

Why are so many athletes and bodybuilders excited about the types of results they can experience with YK-11?

Even though the evidence might be anecdotal, it does seem to be overwhelmingly impressive.

Those who have taken it say that there it works well and that they are pleased with the results they have received.

Naturally, one of the biggest reasons that people are using the compound is because it has been found to help build muscle tissue relatively quickly.

Those who go through a six-week cycle could gain up to 10 lbs. of muscle in that time.

In addition to increases in size, you will also find that you increase your overall strength levels.

Adding more strength can mean that you are going to be building real, sustainable muscle over the long term.

This is always a welcome benefit, but it often comes at the cost of other things, such as definition or endurance.

However, that doesn’t seem to be the case with YK-11.

When you use YK-11, you will find that it can also help to increase your endurance.

This includes your muscular endurance and your endurance in general. You will also find that it can accelerate fat burning.

Many ectomorphs, who tend to hold onto fat, find that YK-11 can help them to shed the fat weight, gain muscle, and look more defined.

As you can imagine with these kinds of gains, it is going to help to boost your confidence levels.

You will be pleased with how you look and the strength that you’ve gained.

However, that doesn’t mean that taking the product is always the right choice.

Yes, it has the potential to work well, but there are some caveats.

We’ve mentioned it before and will again. Very little research has been done on YK-11. Even though it is often billed as a SARM, it’s not.

Therefore, you do need to proceed with caution when you are considering this option.

As exciting as the benefits may seem to be, it is important to remember that these results can vary from one person to the next, as well.

Depending on your body type and physiology, the amount of work you are putting into your workouts, your diet, etc., the results could vary.

Side Effects of YK-11

You will find that some side effects are quite concerning with this compound.

It has less research than other products billed as SARMs, and this means that the side effects could be more problematic than you may realize at first.

It also means you aren’t going to be able to find any clinical data that can support or dismiss claims being made about YK-11.

Everything is going to be anecdotal.

Some of the types of side effects that have been reported include acne breakouts, hormone suppression, headaches, nausea, stomach issues.

You will find that many of these side effects are similar to the types of effects that could be expected from steroid use.

Again, because there is so little research done in this area, particularly with humans, it means that we don’t have the full picture when it comes to the types of potential side effects and other issues that can arise.

Positive Reviews and Complaints About YK-11

Naturally, you need to make sure you understand the good and the bad about any sort of supplement or compound before you start to take it.

One of the best ways to get a sense of what people think about it is to look at the words of actual users.

Below are some reviews about YK-11, which should help to give you a better idea of what you can expect.

Look at the good and the bad, so you can make up your mind as to whether it will be worth it for you or not.

“I did 6mg for 8 weeks stacked with cardarine and BPC-157. Did bloods both before and after the cycle (you’ll only truly know yourself if you check your blood work and not just rely on others’ opinions).

My post-cycle blood work showed a slight elevation in LDL (bad cholesterol) and a slight decrease in HDL (good cholesterol). Test was pretty much the same (slight drop but nothing concerning).

My big thing was joint pain. It was fucking annoying. Started feeling joint pain in week 7 and the pain didn’t go away until 3 weeks after the cycle.

This makes sense though because YK11 is a myostatin inhibitor (NOT A SARM). It’s categorized as a SARM probably due to convenience.”

“In terms of gains, I went from 204lb to 212lb by the end and I absolutely smashed all my PRs at the gym. All in all, if you’re new to ‘this stuff’, I wouldn’t recommend starting with this one. Look into Ostarine instead perhaps.”

“If you’ve decided that you do want to start YK11, you need to do blood tests before and after your cycle.

It’s easy to injure yourself with YK (hence the increase in muscle growth due to the inhibiting of your myostatin). Remember to warm up before all of your workouts and stretch as well.”

Alternatively, this guy has nothing but good things to say about YK-11 in his Youtube video review:

Some are worried because it resembles a steroid more than it does a traditional SARM compound. They don’t want to deal with all of the dangerous side effects that are associated with steroids, naturally.

“It’s a DHT derivative and was classified as a “SARM” because the researchers wanted more studies funded. It is as selective as Anavar or Winny basically. It’s also expensive as shit.

The guys saying “oh best SARM, hell yeah” are commenting on a steroid, not a SARM. If you want a DHT derivative Anavar or Winny are good.”

Where to Buy YK-11

Like other SARMs, you can find the product online through a range of websites.

You won’t find them offline and in your local supplement store, though, given the nature of the products.

We recommend you pick up YK 11 from a company called Sports Technology Labs.

Their products are 3rd party tested, and are considered the most reputable on the market.

Click Here to see their page on YK 11.

Only choose reputable manufacturers if you want to be sure you are getting real YK-11 that has the potential to work as well as we’ve discussed above.

How To Take YK-11

When it comes to using YK-11, you will find that the lack of research means there is no certain dosage that has been determined to be “correct”.

Keep in mind that it is a strong compound, so you will typically want to err on the side of caution.

This means using less of the compound than you might initially think you would need.

Most users will stick to between 5 mg to 10 mg per day, and they can get some great results.

As for the cycles, you can stay on a cycle for four to eight weeks.

Most will suggest that you don’t go past six weeks for your first cycle because of the power of YK-11.

After that cycle, you will want to take some time off the YK-11 for at least six weeks to get the body’s hormones back to normal.

Post-cycle therapy should be done after your cycle, as this will help to get your body regulated, so you are producing the right number of hormones.

The half-life of YK-11 is between 10 and 12 hours.

This means that one dose a day is typically going to be enough to ensure it works. You don’t want to take more than one dose a day, as it could be too much.

You will find that it is possible to stack YK-11 with other SARMs and with prohormones. This can help to provide you with better overall gains.

When using the product, you will experience benefits greater than what you will find with many other options on the market.

Conclusion

There is something of a conundrum with this product. The compound seems to provide the results that people are looking for.

Although there is a lot of anecdotal evidence that says just how effective YK-11 can be, this doesn’t mean that it’s necessarily right for everyone.

You have to remember that there is still very little information about the compound because the research is limited.

Always proceed with caution and make sure you are careful when you are buying and taking this or any other compound.

If you are going to buy, make sure it is from a quality source, don’t take too high of a dosage, and pay attention to how you feel while cycling the compound.

You also need to remember to take care of yourself with post-cycle therapy once you have finished your cycle.

This will help to ensure that your hormones get back to the proper level.

According to the anecdotal evidence, it does have the potential to work well and provide some truly amazing benefits.

However, many still consider it to be highly dangerous and do not recommend it.

Whether you are going to use the YK-11 or not, you will want to make sure you stay apprised of any more research that’s done on the product.

This can give you a deeper understanding of whether it is something you will want to use or not.
