About Discount Tire
According to their website, Bruce T. Halle started the first Discount Tire store in Michigan.
Halle grew the business himself and by the end of the decade, he had six locations.

How to save at discount tire
We found three major ways to save with Discount Tire, starting with the Military Discount.
1. Military Discount
Discount Tire does offer a military discount, however, it’s not honored at all locations.
The areas that we have found that have a military discount include: New Mexico, West Texas, Colorado and Wyoming.
Your local store may also offer a discount.
Contact them prior to making a purchase to see if they have a code available for the Military Discount.
The discount is for 10% off any purchase installed.
Restrictions include a $50 maximum in savings and the inability to combine it with other promotions.
If your location does offer the discount, it is a great way to save on top of great pricing.
2. Deals and Rebates
Any deals and rebates that Discount Tire is currently offering can be found on their promotions page here.
Discount Tire promotions page is a useful tool because it not only lists current promotions that Discount Tire offers, but any manufacture coupons that are available for the products they sell as well.
The page will also tell you which Discount Tire discounts can be combined with manufacture coupons.
How to submit a Rebate
Locate the rebate on Discount Tire’s promotions page.
Once you have located the rebate, click on the image to be routed to a new page with more information.
If your purchase was for the product mentioned, download the rebate form.
The rebate form will include more information regarding when the purchase had to be made, when the rebate has to be submitted by and how to submit the rebate.
Some rebates can be electronically submitted and some must be mailed or faxed.
When the rebate is mailed, make sure to pay attention to the latest post-mark date.
After you have submitted your rebate you should expect to see a prepaid card return in the mail.
Each rebate has a different return timeline for when you will be receiving your card.
They generally take a few weeks to be returned.
Discount Tire’s promotions page also lists rebates that have expired.
The reason for this is because while you cannot make a current purchase to use the promotion, you can still apply the promotions listed to previous purchases.
Check out the rebates before making a purchase to ensure you get the best deals.
