Dollar Shave Club is a popular vendor of razors, creams and other shaving needs.
Their products are used by countless men (and even some women!) across the country.
Even if you don’t use them, it’s very likely that you’ve at least heard of them.
If you use Dollar Shave Club, or are planning to use their products soon, you’re probably wondering if they offer a military discount.
A razor is a necessary part of many people’s daily routines, so why not try to save a few dollars?
A quick Google search shows that Dollar Shave Club does not, in fact, offer a military discount.
This is unfortunate that Dollar Shave Club doesn’t offer this discount, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t plenty of other ways that military men and women – and even those without a military background – can save some money while shopping.
Dollar Shave Discount Option #1 – Become a New Member
This one may seem obvious, but it’s worth pointing out that Dollar Shave Club does offer a nice welcome gift to new members that you would have to pay more for if you shopped elsewhere.
This welcome gift is what Dollar Shave Club calls a “Trial Set” that costs only $5.
Click Here to check it out on their official website.
This set comes with useful shaving products and accessories such as multiple razor cartridges, a razor handle, shave butter, post shave dew and prep scrubs.
These are all incredibly useful items that anyone who shaves could find use in.
A set like this could easily cost upwards of $20-$30, but new members only have to pay the $5.
In addition, this shaving set isn’t the only trial set that Dollar Shave Club offers.
Despite the name, Dollar Shave club also offers shower and oral care products for users as well.

These trial sets come with products such as body cleansers, shampoos, face cleansers, toothpastes and toothbrushes.
Just like with the shaving trial set, the trial sets for the shower and oral care sets are only $5.
This means that taking advantage of all three trial sets will cost you less than $20, the normal price of any one of these sets.
Using these trial sets does put you in a trial period with Dollar Shave Club, meaning that you’ll get more products every couple of weeks or so until you decide to cut your subscription with them.
The best part of these trial sets is that you as the customer build them yourself.
This essentially means that you get to pick and choose what goes into your trial set, so you aren’t railroaded into getting all three.
If you only want the shaving set, you aren’t saddled with an oral care and shower set as well that you likely won’t even use.
Dollar Shave Discount Option #2 – RetailMeNot and Slickdeals
If you’re already a member and want to know of other ways that you can save money, another good way you can get a discount with Dollar Shave Club offers is using RetailMeNot.
RetailMeNot is a couponing website that shoppers can use to find discounts at all their favorite sites and stores.
Similar to coupon newsletters that you get from your grocery store, or coupons that you see in the newspaper, RetailMeNot collects these coupons so that any who search for them can use them on their next shopping trip; whether that trip is online or in-store.
To look up Dollar Shave Club coupons on RetailMeNot, you first have to go to RetailMeNot’s website. From there, you can put in “dollar shave club” in the search bar.
Another way that you can get to RetailMeNot’s coupons for Dollar Shave Club is to search “retailmenot dollar shave club” in Google.
Both options will bring you to the same page:
Once you’re on this site, you’ll be able to access the different coupon codes that RetailMeNot has for Dollar Shave Club.
Once you find the codes, you can copy them to your Clipboard, copy them into a Word document, or write them down onto a sheet of paper.
Regardless, once you have the codes, you can make your purchases on Dollar Shave Club and enter the codes in when prompted.
You can also filter the search results on RetailMeNot.
You can set it up so that you, for example, can only see coupons that offer free shipping or a certain percentage off the total price.
In addition, you can also filter coupons by coupon type: online codes and online sales.
All these filtering options make it easier to ensure that you get the exact type of discount that you’re looking for.

Another coupon website that you can look into is SlickDeals.net.
Similar to RetailMeNot, SlickDeals collects coupons and codes for users to use during their next online purchase.
Just like RetailMeNot, you can go straight to SlickDeals’ website and search “ dollar shave club” to see the coupons that the website offers for Dollar Shave Club.
You can also Google “slickdeals dollar shave club” and click on the first results.
Regardless of how you search for the coupons, you’ll still be taken to the same site page:
Just like with RetailMeNot, Slickdeals’ coupons and codes can be revealed just by clicking the buttons by the offer.
If there is a coupon that you want to use, you can copy the code to your Clipboard, paste it into a document or write it down for future reference.
You can then continue with your online shopping session and use the coupon codes when prompted during checkout.
Similar to RetailMeNot, you can also filter the searches that you see on Slickdeals.
Though there aren’t as many options as RetailMeNot, Slickdeals does allow you to filter results either by all coupon options, sales and discounts, coupons and promo codes and deals.
Both sites are equally as useful and helpful, and anyone serious about saving their money while shopping at Dollar Shave Club – or any other website, for that matter – should check out both.

Dollar Shave Discount Option #3 – Cashback Sites
A third option for customers to check out are cashback sites.
Websites such as Ebates and Rakuten offer cashback to customers simple for going through their site while online shopping.
“Cashback” is essentially a term to refer to an incentive offered to customers.
Similar to a rebate, cashback gives some cash back to customers.
The cashback setup is an excellent incentive and a good way for customer to save money they otherwise would be giving up during a purchase.
Cashback incentives are separate from coupons and promos, as you’re paying full price at first and then earning the cashback later; the overall price isn’t discounted as it isn’t the online store specifically that’s offering you the cash back.
Ebates specifically offers cashback incentives for Dollar Shave Club.
A good way to access their cashback promotions is to either go on Ebates’ site and look up Dollar Shave Club, or Google “ebates dollar shave club”.
Both will bring you to the same website:
Once you’re on the site, you’ll be able to see what purchases or transactions are eligible for cashback.
You’ll also be able to see how much of a percentage you as the customer will get back once the purchase is completed.
When you see a cashback incentive that grabs your attention, you simply have to click the “Shop Now” button.
If you aren’t already a member of Ebates (or it’s parent company, Rakuten) or logged onto your account, you’ll be taken to a login/signup screen.
From there, you’ll be prompted to install Ebates’ web browser plugin to track your online purchases – think of it as if you were adding a gauge to track how much gas you have to a car that didn’t have it.
Other websites, such ID.me also offer cashback incentives:
You’d set up your cashback incentive with ID.me the same exact way you’d do it with Ebates.com.
It’s a simple process that should ideally take less than three minutes.
Once everything is set up, you’re ready to shop and save!
Although Dollar Shave Club doesn’t offer a military discount, there are still plenty of other ways for both military men and women as well as those without a military background to save money while online shopping.
In addition to trial sets that the website offers, plenty of outside companies offer coupons and cashback incentives to help customers save as much money as possible.
