About Dollywood

Dolly Parton opened Dollywood in 1986, but there had been various theme parks in the location for fifty years before that.

She turned it into a place where guests can celebrate the history and life in the Smoky Mountains and have fun at the same time.

The park has over 40 rides, a waterpark called Splash Country, live entertainment, and a wide variety of food and dining options.

They have a spa, a family resort, and cabins on site as well.

With Dollywood’s wide variety of attractions, they have something every member of the family can enjoy.

Normally, adult admission to Dollywood costs $74.

With the military discount, that cost is brought down to just $52.80.

It is important that you keep in mind, though, that the waterpark costs an extra $10. A military discount is not offered on this price.

The website says that you can turn the military discount purchase into a season pass, but it does not state how much this costs or how to do it.

It simply states to ask a host at the location how it can be done.

Who Can Claim This Deal?

The Dollywood military discount is available for current military members in the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard.

It can be used by those serving Active Duty Reserves, and National Guard.

The deal is also available for retired military members and veterans.

Military spouses and dependents can take advantage of the deal as well as long as they have proper identification.

Kid Prices For All

Dollywood occasionally runs a deal where every guest pays kid prices.

This makes tickets $61 instead of the normal $74. It’s more expensive than the military deal, but it may be a good option if you want to purchase your tickets online or if you want to buy tickets for friends at a lower cost.

To buy these tickets, watch advertisements to see when the low prices come around.

When the time comes, you can buy your kid-priced tickets online or in person.
