Asics Military Discount

Asics is a famous, international company that produces and sells athletic footwear and clothing for men, women and children.

And if you have any kind of a military background, you’re probably wondering if they offer a military discount.

While a google search turned up nothing, OMK chatted directly with Asics regarding their military discount.

It turns out that they in fact DO offer a discount for not only military members, but also for first responders and medical professionals.

Here’s step-by-step instructions on redeeming it:

Step 1: Click Here to visit the official Asics website.

Step 2: Click the ‘My Account’ link in the upper right hand corner to register your professional email on their website.

Step 3: Once you complete the registration, check your email.  You should see an email from Asics with the following subject line: “Welcome to the OneAsics membership program”

Step 4: Forward this email to the following email address: [email protected]

In the email, you need to do 2 things:

1. Include / Attach a photo of your military ID

2. Be sure you put the following: “I am registered! So it will look like this:

Asics Discount Option #1 – Periodic Sales

Although Asics doesn’t offer coupons or promotional codes to its customers, it does have some sales and discounts that all customers can take advantage of.

These sales happen periodically and don’t seem to be tied in to any one holiday or time of year.

Some of the sales they offer are periodic sales such as the Semi-Annual Sale.

These sales knock off a certain percentage off of select items.

Because these sales only affect certain items decided upon by Asics, customers are very limited in terms of what they can get at a discounted price.

Although the discounted items usually have a good chunk of the price taken off – up to 50% – it still means that a wide selection of Asics’ items are often left at full price.

One way to see what’s being discounted is by going to Asics’ main home page.

There should be a banner or button announcing any sales happening.

Another way is to sign up for their email newsletter.

When you visit their homepage, you should see a banner like this that pops up:

Once you enter your email and click “Sign Up”, you’ll receive all sorts of special offers, discounts, and coupons.

You’ll also be entitled to free 2-day delivery on orders of $50 or more, as well as free returns.

Asics Discount Option #2 – Couponing Sites

With a company such as Asics that doesn’t offer much in the way of coupons and codes, third-party couponing sites such as Slickdeals and RetailMeNot are extremely handy.

These sites collect coupons from across the internet and compose them into one easy-to-read list to be used.

These coupons can then be applied to online purchases and redeemed upon checkout.

The coupons range from knocking a percentage off your total, to discounting certain item types, to free shipping on purchases with a certain subtotal.

These coupons allow much more freedom for shoppers than the periodic sales do; customers are much more likely to find a discount that applies to their purchases through these coupons.

The nice part about these websites is that they also offer the option to filter the coupon results.

This means that shoppers can opt to see only coupons that only take off a percentage from your total, or offer a buy one get one free discount.

Such a level of freedom allows shoppers to easily curate their shopping experience and avoid sifting and scrolling through coupons until they see one that they like or applies to them.

The easiest way to find these coupons is to either visit retailmenot.com or slickdeals.net and type “asics” into the search bar at the top of the screen.

You can also find these coupons by searching the couponing site of your choice and Asics name on Google – so something along the lines of “retailmenot ascis”.

Both options will bring you to the same webpages listing the coupons.

Another perk to these websites – especially Slickdeals – is that they mention which coupons are “verified”.

A verified coupon means that the code or coupons has been successfully used by other shoppers already.

This extra feature can give plenty of peace of mind to shoppers who may be wondering if they were using a faulty or bogus code.

Asics Discount Option #3 – Cashback Sites

Cashback sites such as Ebates and Rakuten offer another way for online shoppers to earn money.

Sites such as these quite literally offer cash back to shoppers who use their app or plugin while shopping.

It’s very similar to companies that offer rebates for shopping with them or spending a certain amount of money.

What’s a plugin?

A plugin is essentially an app that, instead of being accessed through your computer’s Start Menu, installs onto your web browser.

It then keeps track of your online purchases and how much money you’ve spent while shopping online and then calculates how much money you should get back.

Installing a plugin is simple!

All you have to do is go to the cashback site of your choice and sign up for a free account.

At some point during or after the signup process, you’ll be prompted to install the plugin.

Installing it is pretty similar to downloading a file onto your computer – except instead of the file going to your Downloads folder, it installs straight onto your web browser.

Once you have the plugin installed, you can begin saving!

On the cashback site, you can search for the store you want to shop at, Asics in this case, and look at the discounts they’re offering.

What you’ll see is similar to what you’ve likely seen on the third-party couponing sites.

You’ll see all the different discounts and coupons available to you in a list format, and you should be able to format and filter them so that you can only see coupons that you want to see.

In addition to seeing these coupons, you should also see the cashback percentage that the site offers for shopping with them.

In this case, Ebates offers 1.5% cash back for any purchases made through them on Asics’ site.

Though this isn’t a terribly high percentage, it’s still better than nothing.

Once you see a coupon that you want to use and you have the plugin installed, you can click the button that’s adjacent to each coupon, which will then take you to the proper section of Asics’ website so that you can start shopping. The coupons and cashback incentives are all taken care of by the plugin.

In addition to the cashback incentives, these websites also provide some information on the stores themselves.

Info on products the company sells as well as little known deals that they offer – such as, in this case, Asics offering free standard ground shipping on all orders – as well as how much money others have saved by using their plugin.

Conclusion

Although Asics’ themselves don’t offer much in the way of military discounts and coupons, they still have a couple of sales that shoppers can take advantage of.

In addition to the sales and promotions that Asics occasionally offers, there are plenty of third-party websites that shoppers can use to save some money.

Couponing websites and cashback incentives make it easy for shoppers to save while shopping, and using both in conjunction would allow anyone to save a bundle. Good luck and happy shopping!
