Dunkin Donuts is a well-known donut and coffee shop with locations spread across most of the United States (and other countries around the world).
There is no corporate-wide Dunkin Donuts military discount, but some of their locations offer a deal around 10% off to give back to those who serve.
Every Dunkin Donuts location does offer a free donut to military members on Veteran’s Day every year, however.

About Dunkin’ Donuts
Dunkin Donuts was founded in Massachusetts in 1950 by a man named William Rosenburg.
They are most well known for their donuts, as shown by their name.
They offer over 50 types of donuts in their shops, ensuring there’s a favorite for every person who visits.
You can also choose from a variety of coffees and other specialty drinks to enjoy with your donut.
If donuts aren’t your thing, you can try a bagel or breakfast sandwich.

What is the Official Dunkin’ Donuts Military Discount?
Dunkin Donuts does not have a corporate-wide military discount, as mentioned above.
However, the company gives each individual store the ability to make decisions on a military deal.
This means that some Dunkin Donuts shops offer a military discount, while others do not.
OMK reached out to a number of Dunkin Donuts locations in different parts of the country to get a better idea of what the Dunkin Donuts military discount looks like.
Two stores that we reached out to that do offer a military discount were St. Paul, Minnesota and Austin, Texas.
Both of these stores give 10% off to service members on all menu items.
Two stores that didn’t offer a military deal were Los Angeles, California and Chicago, Illinois.
How to Use this Deal
When you go to use the Dunkin Donuts military discount, you will first want to check with your local store to see if they have a deal.
If there are two or more locations near you, you may even want to reach out to both and take advantage of the better deal.
Once you find a location that offers a military discount, ask them if you need to do anything special to claim it.
The locations OMK spoke to in St. Paul and Austin simply required a military ID be shown at checkout, so you may find similar guidelines where you live.
Dunkin Donuts Veteran’s Day Deal
The Dunkin Donuts Veteran’s Day deal is available at all locations, unlike their military discount.
You don’t even need to make a purchase to use this deal. Simply show up on Veteran’s Day with proof of service to claim your free donut.
This deal may change by year, so watch for ads for specific details on the upcoming event.

Who Can Claim this Deal?
Since the Dunkin Donuts military discount is location-based, the eligibility requirements may vary as well.
Both Austin and St. Paul offer their deal to all current military members, including those who serve in the Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard in Active Duty, Reserve, and National Guard roles.
They also offer their deals to past military members, including veterans and retired service members.
You may find that your local store offers a wider or more specific deal, so you’ll want to check with them for their exact eligibility requirements.
Veteran’s Day Eligibility
The Veteran’s Day deal at Dunkin Donuts is available to all veterans and current Active Duty service members.
Unfortunately, it does not extend to military members currently serving in National Guard or Reserve roles.
What are the Restrictions?
Restrictions for the military discount are once again set by the individual stores, but you’ll likely find out that you can’t use a military discount with another deal.
So, if Dunkin Donuts is hosting a BOGO event, you’ll want to use that and save the military discount for a day when they aren’t offering significant savings in other forms.
The Veteran’s Day deal doesn’t really have any restrictions, besides the fact that it only works one day of the year.
Overall, you’ll definitely want to stop by Dunkin Donut’s on Veteran’s Day for your free sweet treat.
If your local shop offers a military discount, it’s worth taking advantage of year-round as well.
For the daily deal, remember to call your local shop and ask:
- If they offer a military discount
- Who can claim their deal
- If you need to show proof of service to use the deal
- If there are any restrictions
