About the Georgia Aquarium

The Georgia Aquarium was founded in 2005 by two men named Bernie Marcus and Arthur Blank.

Blank and Marcus were both fired from a home improvement company, and decided to move forward by starting their own business together.

They began the company with the help of a $250 million gift from Marcus.

Today, the Georgia Aquarium is a huge, interactive and educational non-profit aquarium.

They are leaders in aquatic research and marine life care.

Their employees work to create exceptional exhibits as well as to help sea life creatures in their natural habitats around the world.

Along with walking through the aquarium and experiencing the Voyageur Tunnel (shown below), guests can have up-close encounters with sea creatures, swim with the animals, and take behind-the-scene tours for an additional cost.

The Georgia Aquarium military discount has some specific guidelines on who can claim the deal, and when they can claim it.

The free admission for every Monday deal is only available to active military members.

Active military includes anyone who is currently serving.

This means that members of the Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard can take advantage of the deal. Those who serve in Active Duty, Reserve, and National Guard roles are all eligible.

What Are The Restrictions?

The Georgia Aquarium military discount does have a few restrictions to keep in mind.

First, the deal can only be used in person.

This means that if you purchase your tickets ahead of time online, you will end up paying full price.

The deal is also not able to be combined with other offers or promotional deals.

Specifically, you cannot use the military discount on Early Bird purchases or Imagination Nights.
