Kings Dominion is an amusement park filled with roller coasters, a 20-acre Soak City waterpark, live shows, and food and drinks.
They are a family-friendly location, with their 14-acre Planet Snoopy section built specifically for kids.
Planet Snoopy includes rides for little ones, as well as PEANUTS gang characters.
The Soak City waterpark is included with general admission tickets, and has both exciting water slides and a relaxing lazy river.

What Is The Official Kings Dominion Military Discount?
The Kings Dominion amusement park offers four separate ways for past and present military members and their families to save on admission price.
They include the regular military discount ticket, special event tickets, the Military Gold Pass, and annual Military Appreciation Events.
Regular Military Discount Tickets
These discounted tickets are available for $39.50, versus the normal $71 price.
This gives military members almost half off the price of admission to the park.
The tickets can be used for regular admission any day of the year.
They cannot, however, be used if you want to attend special events at the park.

Special Events Military Tickets
Since the regular military discount tickets do not apply to special events, tickets specific to these dates are often available as well.
For example, tickets for the Winterfest can be purchased for $23, compared to the regular $28 price tag.
These tickets can only be used for the specific event that they are purchased for.
Military Gold Pass
The Military Gold Pass is a season ticket deal for military members. It gives you unlimited visits throughout the year, as well as free parking.
It includes admission to Soak City water park, and special events such as Winterfest and the Halloween Haunt.
It also gives you access to exclusive events and discounts, including a program called PassPerks.
The Military Gold Pass is available for $84, or an initial payment of $12.50 and 11 payments of $6.50 each.
This is compared to the regular season ticket pass cost of $102.
The Military Gold Pass often comes with additional perks as well, such as Fast Lane Plus access or free Bring-A-Friend tickets.

Military Appreciation Days
Along with all of the deals mentioned above, Kings Dominion also hosts Military Appreciation Days.
These events typically happen annually, though that is not guaranteed.
You can always check the King’s Dominion website each year to ensure the event is still going to happen.
The current year’s Military Appreciation Days will happen during the Halloween Haunt.
Military members can receive one free ticket on a Friday during the Haunt season, and their family members can purchase tickets online for $29.99.

What Are The Restrictions?
Each type of military discount ticket at Kings Dominion has its own set of guidelines that must be followed for the deal to be valid.
The regular military discount is only able to be used for general admission. It is not able to be used during special events or concert dates, such as WinterFest.
