200 points is equal to $10, so it’s just like earning free money to use at JCPenney.

5. Sign Up for a JCPenney Credit Card
Signing up for a JCPenney credit card and using it on your purchases at the store is probably the way to save the most money.
With this card, you can get 20% through 35% off select items throughout most of the store, and 5% off select electronics purchases.
There are special savings days only available to cardholders.
Your JCPenney account (the one that earns you free money) will earn points at twice the speed as well.

Even though JCPenney stores do not offer a military discount, their portrait studios do.
When you show your military ID at the beginning of the session, all of your session fees will be waived.
This means you can get your pictures taken completely free.
You’ll also receive a free 8×10 print.
Anything else you purchase will be 50% off, standard print prices are cut from $19.99 to $6.99, and you can get a high-resolution digital photo album for just $119.99 (normally $169.99).

Overall, it is unfortunate that JCPenney does not offer a military discount on their regular merchandise.
