Jeep released its first vehicle and became an automotive brand in 1940. The Jeep Willys was created for those serving in the United States military as well as for allied soldiers during the second World War.
In the 1950’s, Jeep began selling to a larger crowd as they created vehicles for recreation.
The 1960’s brought the Jeep Wagoneer, which spread Jeeps to the family setting, as well as to work commutes and other daily driving tasks.
Today, Jeep has been creating and selling a wide variety of vehicles for over 75 years. The vehicles are still found in a variety of roles, from daily transport to off-road use.
Jeeps have grown in popularity as well, as they have recently been selling over 1 million units each year.

Who Can Claim This Deal?
The Jeep military discount is available for those serving in active duty and active reserve roles. This includes members of the Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard.
It is also available for all retired United States military personal and retired reserve members.
Veteran’s can take advantage of the discount if they buy a Jeep vehicle within 12 months of their discharge date, if they are a 100% disabled veteran, or if they are an individually unemployable veteran. All veterans must have an honorable discharge to be eligible for this deal.
All military members and veterans need to be able to show proof of their current service to ensure that they are eligible for the military discount.
The Military AutoSource program and deal is available to any military member who is currently deployed or stationed overseas.
What Are The Restrictions?
Various restrictions do apply to these deals. The Military AutoSource program simply states that restrictions are set by the dealer, so the Jeep restrictions are the ones that you need to keep in mind.
Jeep’s restrictions exclude some vehicles from the deal, especially newer models. Currently, the 2018 Cherokee, and the 2018 and 2019 Grand Cherokee SRT and Trackhawk are excluded. The excluded vehicle list may change as more models are released.
The vehicles also need to be recent models. Currently, they need to from the years 2018, 2019, or 2020. It is likely that in the future the vehicles will need to be three years old or newer. This requirement could change, so always check with your dealer to find a vehicle that is eligible for the program.
