Seymour Johnson Air Force Base

Overall Mission:
At Seymore Johnson, the base specializes in training those pilots who operate the famous F-15 Strike Eagle combat fighter jet platform.
The squadrons located at this AFB are specialized in training the next generation of F-15 pilots and are ready to actively deploy their planes at a moment’s notice.
A squadron of 10 KC-135R Stratotankers are also located at this base that aid in missions that require additional range and fuel capacity.

Pope Army Airfield
Location: Fort Bragg, NC

Overall Mission:
While only recently being demoted from a full-scale AFB down to an airfield, Pope still maintains its rightful place among the Fort Liberty community.
Since joining Fort Liberty, Pope has become specialized in offering rapid deployment combat squadrons and transport to the Army.
When the army needs eyes, guns, or troops in the skies, Pope is where those planes are likely to take off from to assist in Army operations.

Base Support Unit Elizabeth City
Location: Elizabeth City, NC

Overall Mission:
The only Coast Guard base in the State, Elizabeth City is an essential platform for the Coast Guard to launch operations along the Southeastern coast.
This base is home to a logistics center, boat station, and small air wing that all work together to help the Coast Guard protect the coast in the North Carolina area.
